You choose a date in the past or future, and we'll create a copy of our print with the planets plotted as they were, or will be, on that very date. Add your own custom text, and create a poster that's truly one of a kind.
All prints are produced using 200gsm matte art paper (luxurious heavy, textured paper) and includes free delivery to all countries that we operate in.
The accuracy in our print lies in the angle each planet is plotted on, relative to the sun. When you provide us with your date, we use data from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory to calculate the planetary alignment based on this
The orbit paths of each planet are not perfect circles in reality, and the sizes of the planet's certainly aren't to scale - but the way we do it makes for a far nicer piece of art.
In fact for context of the scale of the solar system; if the sun was the size of an 8-ball, the earth would need to be 19ft away - and it'd be hardly visible, just a grain of sand!
We can help with that - we've created handy guides with our favourite places to get frames that fit our print perfectly. We only have the USA and UK at the moment, but more to come.
